About Our Founder

Allie Zamfir has over a decade of institutional real estate investment management experience, a passion for impact, and a love for South Carolina.

Throughout her career, Allie has sought ways to tie her role as an investment manager to the impact she can have in the world by aligning her work with outcomes, whether for the investors (aligning decision-making to financial outcomes), tenants (residents of communities), or both.

Tesatura Capital is focused on creating and preserving much-needed workforce and affordable housing in South Carolina. This venture was formed following a decade of hands-on investment management experience; the firm’s strategy and ethos blends the strong knowledge and relationships Allie built in the market while overseeing the Carolinas multifamily portfolio at PGIM and her passion for impact investing having supported the launch of PGIM’s impact investing fund. She went on to lead asset management for the Urban Investment Group at Goldman Sachs.

Tesatura Capital was formed as a way to leverage Allie’s deep knowledge of investment management, passion for affordable housing, and her love of the Carolinas. This venture is the culmination of a lifelong desire to make a positive impact on the world.

Allie holds her BS from Lehigh University and her MBA from Columbia Business School. She is an active alumna of both institutions and has returned on numerous occasions as a guest lecturer, mentor, and judge for the Collins Family Real Estate Practicum at Lehigh. She serves the community through volunteering her time to local non-profits, including in her role as President Elect for SC WAHN and through her participation on the City Advisory Board for Entryway Charleston, along with board service for the Newark Opportunity Youth Network. Allie also spends her time actively participating in local programming through ULI South Carolina. She has also served as adjunct faculty for the Schack Masters in Real Estate Program at New York University.
